Description
That night we witnessed horrors beyond all description, scenes that I thought only were product of my most hideous nightmares. At that moment I realized that, whoever has done all this, was not an human... that simply could not be possible. My co-workers, the detectives Johnson and Garcia, were serious people, faithful to their work and duty, but in that moment we felt like small defenseless animals before the stalking of a huge predator. We can't get out and run away from there, we must report to the base every detail of what we find there, that was supposed to be our job...

The room looked like an enormous abandoned laboratory, with human parts scattered on the floor. The dim light of our lanterns allowed me to see in the background a completely rusted stretcher, with a body on it. The corpse belonged to an elderly man. I swear I didn't want to see more, but I had to do it. His ribs had been crushed with a drill and all his organs were extirpated through surgical procedures. Inside a bucket were lungs, liver, kidneys and intestines. The rest of the body was pulverized beyond recognition. I was about to faint, prey to an absolute terror, remembering old traumas of my childhood, like reliving an old nightmare that lay dormant long ago, in the deepest of my already shattered mind... When I was 15 I had heart issues... I had to be operated on emergency... but I woke up in the middle of the operation. I couldn't move, my arms and legs was paralyzed! I tried to scream with all my might, but no one listened. I experienced in my own flesh how they cut my skin with the scalpel and opened my ribs. My heart beat violently, I saw how they put their instruments inside my body, listening their awful metallic sounds... and every damn second felt like an eternity.

The other detectives tried to calm me down, even though they were just as disturbed as I... In the darkness only the silence was perceived... and soon we realized that something was watching us hidden in the shadows... Hurry up! We must take the radio and alert all the units... If anyone can hear us, please, you must come for us...
