Wow, this is quite the shot. I love pictures of moving water and crashing waves, there is a certain power about them that always gets to me.
This is a nice capture, the angle is a little awkward, however, but I don't mind it. It's a little different, and different is good.
I love how you can see the splash of the waves jump up, it looks pretty cool. The colour tone of the rocks mixed with the water is also neat.
All in all, this is a good shot. Next time, see if you can get it from horizontal angle, so you can get more of the water... might make a good shot e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="

Thanks for the critique!
I think the awkward angle came about largely as I was positioned on a narrow groyne about 40 feet away from the shore, so it was hard to get comfortable on there!
The original photograph has a bit more sea in it; I think I cut a large part of that out to focus on the wave crashing on the rocks but I will try and keep some more of the background in next time!
