Nice, love the details in this. Awesome idea, and did a equally great job bringing it to life!
Also, is he turning into a full-on dragon, or is this the end of the transformation?

It's into a full dragon, there's another sketch pozem drew with him as a full dragon, although I think that was moved into storage or removed.

There aren't really any textures used here. I drew each scale one at a time.

I didn't keep track of the time all the way through, but based on what I did keep track of, this took me over 150 hours, and I think it was time well spent.
