First lightning captured this year. That was a very nice thunderstorm - more than 60 pictures and only six without the lightnings

Yeah... I was just waiting and BAM! I saw lightening and as soon as I saw it I clicked the camera and... I didn't get anything... T_T I shal try again sometime.

how does one capture a pic like this... i can never get anything in a thunder and lightning storm

It is easier to do this in the night. With long exposure the chanses are much greater than during the day. Here, shutter was opened for almost 30 seconds.

Just the long exposure. Almost all pictures were taken with 30s exposition. It was almost impossible to get picture without the lightning

Is this really real? Looks like one of those cartoons where rain and lightning come out from a lonely solitary singular dark cloud.
