I see you've got fantastic equipment. You just only need few exercieses Spider webs look the best when it is very early, especially in the morning fog. If the air is not humid enough you can use water-sprinkler.
For pictures I use small aperture values (f5,6-f8). It is better not to use flash, but in with the weak natural light it is very difficult to get sharp picture. Luckily in digital photography you can take as many images as you want

Yup, thanks! The only problem is finding this spider web, because I never do. And when I actually DO it's rather dark.
I'm a bit unlucky I guess. Thanks for the tip!

You are welcome

So keep the water-sprinkler always with you. If you find the web in the middle of the day, you'll get your droplets as you want

I sprayed a spider web with water last time I took those kinds of shot

I've checked these pictures ( they are seems to be the same picture BTW) [link] , [link]
They've got good composition and, colors, perfect FOD. The only problem is that drops are blur. Maybe you should use higier ISO value or use tripod. I think they will look much better (and try to change the compression method, I see strange artifacts on this jpg).

Yeah, but the only problem was that I found the web in a place there was impossible to set up a tripod, so I had to take it handheld. I'm more happy with the photo I use as my avatar (haven't made a new one yet though) whcih is a bit different from the other photos. But next time I will for sure use a tripod and maybe, if the light conditions are not great, I'll use a flash w. softbox. Thanks for feedback & tip !(:
