I thought about it a lot last night and I'm posting this new edit pic with the vision of a possibility:
I know Destoroyah is a worthy enemy and perfectly poses a final threat, but what if he isn't the final enemy? After all, during the first phase of the Disney Monster Universe, I had initially planned for Wrath of the Gods to be the last story, that Ghidorah would be the final enemy, but afterwards, I decided to continue with Doomsday of the Kings and I don't regret it.
What if the disappearance of Destoroyah awakened another threat lurking in the shadows and patiently biding its time? What if an ancestral and forgotten empire was reborn from its ashes? What if this empire was ruled by a titan with blurred origins, with two warrior princesses at his side acting as his apostles?
Godzilla is a god, Kong is a king, but could they face a God-King?
Nothing is official yet, but I'm keeping this idea in mind because I'm really excited about Godzilla x Kong the New Empire and this mysterious titan ape called the Skar King intrigues me a lot and seems to represent a really serious threat to Godzilla and Kong.
