Icon for from his charackter Bam ;3i used a real cat eye as reference fooling around with watering effect success? maybe~ X3
was fun doing the eye and trying to make the fur believeable which i think isnt that easy expectly when the fur gets into other colours :<
anyway! just one free icon left to make an dguess what its a human eye! i dont think they are much different from animal eyes but still different since i dont have to draw fur this time xD

Before I started this critique, I took the freedom to do a background check of your other work on deviantART. You seem to make more of those little cat-eye like paintings.
Your technique shows potential, so I would strongly suggest to try making larger works and practice the anatomy of the rest of the animal. I like the stripes on the fur as well. I would love to see how the rest of the cat would look!
This particular piece is one of your bests and I agree it's not easy to make something with unrealistic colours to feel natural and believable. You succeeded well in that area, although I must admit I'm not impressed by the choice of the colour. To me it seems a poisoned colour (but that might be the thing you were after)

i am not so long in digital painting so doing small stuff i thought would be better to start with^^
i am thinking of going now in the head region to get better i think i would fail if i straight jump from eye to full body^^
choice of colour? uhm i didnt have much freedom with the colour unless you mean something else~ since i draw the eye from a existing character. (hmm i wanted realistic like eye didnt thought that much about the effect it would give :3 people asked me to make eye of their fursonas~ thats all)
true i wouldnt have expected a simple eye to make an impact in these XD. i will practise more and see that i can improve!
