It is a Korean Manwa (I spelled that wrong, basically Manga done in a completely more beautiful style) The main character is named LapisLazuli and unfortunately can become a girl or boy and has no control over when... I won't spoil anything since you haven't read it but I was fond of the series, it was short too, only 6 books I think.

Sorry, Seleneh, I didn't make any tutorial yet. I wish I can but I never find enough time for it. But there isn't any special trick for do this pictures, it's only a matter of experience, a lot of hours of work and a lot of patience
