They walked by each other. Ivory refused to acknowledge him. After all, he quite easily ignored her completely, so why should she care? Yet her heart pounded as they neared and she lost track of the conversation with Eventide and Accord . It was like each step made her hair stand with excitement and her wings ached to stretch. From the corner of her eye she spied Eve sneaking glanced, trying to be seductive. Ugh, such a child. The fact she wouldn't give up gave her some credit, but Ivy couldn't help the annoyance. She refused to accept the fact she might've been slightly jealous and instead made it sympathy for Spinel Glass and his constantly toyed with feelings.

"Hi, Rev," Accord greeted happily, closing her eyes for only a second and tripping on nothing. She caught herself quickly and laughed with embarrassment lightheartedly. She didn't seem deterred at all when Averzhon didn't say anything and only a barely noticable nod was her reply. Ida, instead, kept chatting away with Eve as if nothing had happened, walking past her brother and to wherever they were headed. Ivy couldn't remember anymore as she concentrated on keeping her eyes down.

She fell behind a few steps as she followed her friends, when she felt Averzhon's body so close to her own. That didn't make sense... There was enough room for them to pass each other without close proximity. Then she felt the smooth slide of his wing barely caress her side, the lightest of touches, yet she still felt it. Jerked her eyes up and glanced back to catch him staring at her too. Time was suspended briefly in that moment. She schooled her face to show nothing, just as his was always expressionless, even now, yet somehow it was warm instead of cold like it usually was toward her. It felt as if he could see right through her, to who she really was. But she couldn't help the almost imperceivable smile that wanted to break loose because of it.

As if realizing she was staring back at him, Rev quickly turned and hastened his retreat from her as he trotted away without looking back.
