Description So this ones a little bit of a rant and a little bit of making lemonade from the lemons the Ork selection sometimes throws at you.

Lets get the rant out of the way first.
This set is in DIRE need of a new version. It's at least been in the hobby almost as long as I have (20+ years) and it's really showing it's age. The vehicle still looks Orky enough but if you build it normally it's going to stand out. The gun is an Ork Multi Melta for a start and the two Orks crewing it don't look ANYTHING like the current Orks.
I'm honestly shocked it's not been re done over the years, there has been 3 different takes on Mega Armour in the time this has been out!'

Anyway....

To defeat the horrible aged look of this "classic"vehicle. I used some left over Warbike bits (bloody 3 man box sets when I only want a squad of 5!) and some spare Ork parts and did my best to make the two Orks crewing it look like they were crewing it.
It came out OK, the driver is wedged onto the seat with Warbike handles to control it but as you can see he's looking up a bit...
The gunner (even though you can't see it here) suffered a bit, I managed to use a slugga arm (I think) and get it lined up with the gun enough.
The buggy was finished off with some spare parts from the Stompa I'd built (sadly no pictures remain of "Gor Gor" the Stompa) I added some glyph plates and some spike. Then I changed the exhaust for a warbike exhaust to make it match a bit more.
It came out pretty well but it was something I built near the end of my run with Orks so I never got around to building the other two.

Oh and the paint job was the standard of the Ork army. Red, yellow and dirt.
