Description So originally I was going to leave this a bit longer but screw it, SPEED FREAKS GO FASTAH!

So near the end of my time with the Orks I wanted to do something big and crazy and something you can't just buy off of the shelf.
Cut to me being at work one day and spotting a "Peppa Pig bubble bath rocket" and I got hit by inspiration. A Pulsa Rokkit!!

So after looking into the rules for one in Apocalypse I see it's supposed to be fired from a stationary unit. Screw that! Speed Freakz means it's got to be able to drive places!
So I decided to build a mobile unit for it.
That ended up being a combination of a Chimera tracks (chopped down a lot to be a mini set of tracks at the rear of the vehicle) combined with the left over Battlewagon tracks and turret all mounted on a bashed together hull of plasticard/styrene sheet.
For the Rokkit I took the bubble bath rocket , cleaned it out and added various armor plates, bolted pieces and I even "boxed off" one of the wings.
Orks can be very forgiving on vehicle/wargear building so as an Ork player feel free to leave your stuff as a bit of a mess.

Pretty standard paint job but the Rokkit was a pain in the ass to paint. The primer kept scraping off the plastic. I ended up using a rougher spray paint that GW made at the time, i want to say it was called "Roughcoat" but even that started coming off eventually.
I had to paint a shark tooth (Squig tooth?) grin on the rokkit, just had to! Also plenty of glyphs and random mrakings!
I just noticed though I never dirtied up the vehicle. Huh. Weird.

Rules wise I think I used a Battlewagon for the base and had the Pulsa fire from it but I honestly can't remember.

If I were to build one again I'd spent more time on the Rokkit. Don't get me wrong I'm happy with how it came out but I know I could've done more. It looks to solid, to well built. Not Orky enough by far.
