Actually, they're tagging it in a most comical of Naval Aviation traditions. During the WWII and Korea eras, if an aviator landed his airplane on the wrong carrier, the crew of that boar would spend the night marking it in little graffitti artwork as a way to humble the erroneous pilot and disparage their fellow comrades. When the aircraft flew back to its original boat, everyone would know how Lieutenant So-and-so screwed up the day before and in the process making the rest of them look bad. Notice how all the markings are particularly unflattering the number 100 is in quotes, the ox pulling a cart marked as "Secondary Target" and the strange reference to jock itch. As you can imagine, this was the kind of thing it took a lot of time to live down for the cuplable aviator.
