The truth is where the lines lie.
Not as much a foreshadow as a moment in time, there is so much. For those that are accustomed to life in the forest, I hope this wrings of truth. The bed within this image is of us as if we were leaves fallen to grow new life after a short rest (for life requires so much energy). I see a trinity balanced on the bulk of the human condition. But the three are not the focus for they are merely transient within the enormity of the imagery.
So many faces watch from above and alongside. Perhaps envious of our wanderers, entertained, or merely watchful enough to provide courage (encouragement) for our weary travelers. The direction piques my interest. Forward, left.
We must remember that this is a slice of a moment and should consider that if this is a circular life then this moment is but a part of a larger circle and with that direction indicator the circle is not so static, monotonous. It rolls forward as does all within our knowledge.
Like a wheel rolling down it's path. Only the human mind can comprehend this image and in it see the expression of hope.
To me the author find hope in life as it continues on it spiral forward. Such safety is boundless. Such art is emotionful.

it does remind me of Darkcrystal now that it's mentioned, the elders.
anyway above the first of the 3 figures ( viewer's left to right ) above I see
a figure in the tree , srt of has a lil knight's helmet? what is it really?
looking at their staff reminded me of someone bad though, he has a
staff with all languages. lucky this ain't it

I can't remember much about "Dark Crystal". I think it was the one with the puppets in it. I wonder if it's worth re-watching it - any opinions?

Thanks very much - I'm very glad that you liked it!! I sometimes do a sketch first in a sketch book of the basics of what I want to draw, but that's as far as I ever go, because if I make the sketch too detailed I lose interest & don't draw it again properly. Usually, I only think of which colors I want, put them down in watercolor, and then start in with the fineliner. I don't sketch on the paper with pencil before I put the watercolor down, or after, because pencil seems to show up through both the watercolor & fineliner often. It's mostly a kind of impromptu sort of drawing, although I usually have an idea of what I want the picture to be about.
