I don't know why... but its far too easy to picture Luke being able to play the piano. Inspired by the piano pieces on the anime OST named after said redhead.I really love how the background came out in this picture. Admittedly Asch's pose looks kinda odd and awkward... but I failed miserably at fixing it and thankfully it doesn't detract too much from the overall picture.
OoO I actually worked with a light source *falls from chair in shock* lol - I actually really like how that added to the picture.. something I will definitely try to remember for next time.
Other than that~ braid!

I kinda think more that Asch can play the piano. Cause what with Luke learning the little things and becoming such brat in 7 years, he probably said f*ck the piano after failing at three lessons.

True but I'm sure at some point his father would have put his foot down to Luke doing absolutely nothing every single day. He would have had to acquired some skills befitting his position other than his studies. Natalia probably forced him to learn how to dance too.

I dunno .. after all, his Dukeness kinda ignored the son "who wouldn't live long anyway", so he probably thought he'd just keep him in until Akze and to hell with his personality and skills. Although Natalia forcing dance lessons, yes, that IS likely ..

Yes and no - Duke Fabre did show that despite knowing Luke was going to die, he cared about Luke's appearances as a child of nobility - hence why he (through Ramdas) is telling Luke not to hang out with Guy or be friendly with the servants because it's not "befitting of his station"

I really enjoy the detailing you did with the grand piano. It looks really elegant. Though I think the angling of parts of the piano are a little low, it still looks really awesome!

well it helps if you go into the drawing with the intent of doing the background. *nods* Or maybe roughly layout where the characters will be, but then do the background first and draw them on top.
