HOMGONLY5DAYSTOGO!!!!!!!!!!! /obligatory fangirl spasm

I had to draw Asch, not that I'm sure anyone is surprised. I experimented a lot with my colouring style and process with this picture and I'm really really happy with the final result.

I love Asch's story so much, and I still get happy butterflies in my stomach when I think about how he is able to grow and change throughout the game from the very start to finally accepting his past after losing to Luke.... GOD I want to play this game again. Is it the 14th yet?

Thanks! It took a few tries on the hair to get a feel for how the watercolour brush worked but I'm happy with the final result. now if only I could delete layers IRL in the same way XD

ohgodyes... I sit there and stare at the line thinking "man I wish I had an undo button for that." *pulls out eraser and loses several other lines as collateral damage*

I am seriously in love with the style and soft feeling of this piece. It is gorgeous. The soft shading and colour blending and and and ..... the haaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiirr (stares mesmerized)

Me too~ its really fun to do and I'm equally surprised it came out because I suck with watercolours IRL~ but apparently I can handle the digital version to some extent.

^^ Thank you! Yeah - the arm there didn't come out quite how I wanted it too. I failed at shading it correctly ^^'

Actually I think the lighting is fine, but maybe the size of the hand? o.O

Well I'm rather horrible about getting information about things I seem to like. Unless its by accident. In this case, I think it was a few months ago I was watching a TotA Let's Play on Youtube for old time's sake and the player at one point said how he heard rumors of a remake coming he was looking forward to. XD;
I haven't heard much about it since. I SOOOOO want to play it though D8

I find the bend at the elbow looks off, but that might be me.

XD I would be too, I don't really know where to go to get in the loop with these things. I get most of my info from ~ though for the Abyss port I did read an article in Nintendo Power about bringing it out in english sometime last fall. I was disheartened when they said winter 2012 cause I thought they meant the end of the year! I knew it had already been re-released in japan. I'm looking forward to it!! 3D ASCH

Yeah, that's my biggest thing is not even knowing where to look. I get most of my info on games and stuff from friends too (which btw, Lady Usada's icon is adorable~) Awww that is quite a wait then. But on the upside it gives me time to save up for a 3DS >D

I've gotten a little better since one of my friends it usually up on the latest stuffs from Japan but I still tend to be a bit behind teh times (isn't it adorable? I love it~) I'm glad it wasn't the wait I thought it would be. It comes out tomorrow ~
