And I didn't comment on this either....sigh. I apologize! These are fucking sexual!i love them!i have a fascination for hands. I like to draw really dramatic expressive hands sometimes. But these are so shiny and once again perfect!i want to hold them, are they heavy?

Actualllllyyyy bitchy boyyyyy, japan has let me know that females can be open about many things without it being sex related. It's you that relating it to sex! When I say fucking sexual I mean "epic" or "awesome" I just think saying "that's sexual" has more of a stronger meaning. So yyyeeeaaah.put THAT in your pipe and smoke it!

Yeah they are some cool gloves maybe they'll be a fashon trend and effective winter wear.
No, on the automation it was just done with sevos and cables I didn't have the time to get fancy with the helmet yet I wanted to design a full original system just never got the chance and I've only done 2 auto helmets that were in kit form only.

I've seen some good ones on youtube and that kid Le had it, of course he ain't gonna part with the secrets so he can hog all the attention like a Ho. I'd friggin built it if I had knowledge. Wish u can do a one up and offer them for sale and shit. U make a serious dime on it kid.

DarkAsylumxxx In reply to Uratz-Studios [2011-11-17 11:09:20 +0000 UTC]
Le is full of shit, if you do some research, he's been kicked off most of the prop and professional forms for lying and ripping people off and throwing fits when people call him out on the bullshit and lies, a guy named the Phantom profit built all the helmets and electronics for Le he just stole credit and has a big ego he's just a douche bag kid with rich parents pretentding to be a big shot master prop builder, there's no secret to his tricks he cuts up plastic trash cans rivets them together and pays others to build the helmets and electronics all the beans have been spilt out over multiple forums and he's been removed from those forums too.
Well for me I planned doing all fully functional parts and animatronics but no one's invested in a fully functional suit yet and I've lacked the time for the personal adventure too many other commission pushing back my personal time projects but hoping I can get those systems worked out some time soon I will be building a auto helmet to go with that MARK 6 which will now be the New MARK 7 instead and should be at the LA premier in MAY so there will be more Ironman stuff coming from me yet and I'm have lots of pics and project info.
Here's another thread about Automation of a ironman helmet that can help out [link]

Hahaha No idea about that dumb kid. I suspect he didn't build those helmets cuz they look like ya need prop making skills. He doesn't have sculpt WIP shots like most of us "real" prop makers who show proudly. LOL.
Anyway I'm also backed up with commissions and next year doing more personal stuff. Thanks for the link for rig.

Yeah he's pretty much a hated jackass on the forms a buddy of mine that lives in Denver still see's the douche bag in his trashcan ironman suit hanging out at the Mall I pitty him just cause he's so starved for attention seriously sad sad sad shit if you ask me.
That's good can complain about having work, yeah the link was a nice over few of different solutions other people came up with and it's a good starting point.

Well now that you mentioned it. His parents are rich cuz they care too much about money rather than their own attention deprived child resulting in a hunger to get more attention. So he makes these pathetic suits out of recycled garbage. You serious he "hangs out" in the local malls? Not even getting paid? LOL

I don't know he might beg for money but he even posted pics of himself just hanging out if malls and other public plays he even had pics up of some other dud groping him and other disturbing stuff he was finally kicked off the Replica prop forms cause he was showboating a new thread every week from LA to a world tour and other stop shit a idiot should be posting of face book and Myspace had nothing to do with props and then there was a huge issue with him selling junky reject helmets and other con jobs he's just bad news for any suckers that dont know any better.

Yup. Glad I know this. I asked him for a quote back then for a War machine helmet, he was quoting 2 times the price on the market.
π: 0 β©: 1
DarkAsylumxxx In reply to Uratz-Studios [2011-11-19 15:12:34 +0000 UTC]
the market price is a rip off back when I use to sell helmets on ebay I was selling them a quarter of the Sideshow collectable ripp off price and not only made alot of profit but they sold like hot cakes Market value is way over priced that's why it's always cheaper to just build it myself if I want it bad enough and cant affort it kinda how I got into Props and sculpting now that think about it.

Same here as well. I asked some dude about a latex alien head, he was charging 1 grand for the whole suit but he was quoting me $900 bucks just for the raw latex head with shipping. At that price I can buy enough materials to make a whole suit myself. Crazy

DarkAsylumxxx In reply to Uratz-Studios [2011-11-20 05:54:15 +0000 UTC]
LOL that's way over priced for that price I could afford to build molds and maybe 3 suits at that material cost just in plastic rather then latex which Alien suits look goofy in Latex they sag and never look right the original Alien suit Andrew Ainsworth did was mostly vacuum form shells and flexible PVC for the hands and joints keeping in mind the alien had a exoskeleton rather then skin and that's the way it should be done can't make everything out of Latex like some of these guys do batman suits I guess it works ok but I know a guy that does full predator suits all the parts are latex even the wrist blades and shoulder cannon it's torture to see a floppy predator I offered to make Plastic armor and parts to go over the latex skin but he didn't want to he's ok with high priced low quality costumes he was getting 4 grand for a full latex suit.

His suits were all just 1 latex cast skin amor everything cast in one piece and all out of crappy cheap mask latex they wont last more then 3 years regardless but if people buy them it's not his problem I guess.

Uratz-Studios In reply to DarkAsylumxxx [2011-11-20 16:22:00 +0000 UTC]
3 years? try 2 years or less. Those latex is just rubber balloon latex mixed with pottery powder thats why it has that smell afterwards. I got some of those suits made with mask casting latex and the shit is tearing itself apart in its own weight. I got my own formula here that I am developing for my own needs that doesn't use the pottery powder and I can control hardness and flexibility in the same mold.

They also cut it with amonia suppose to keep it from clumping up as you slush but it just makes it weeker and smell like piss I just use the Pure thick un cut latex and add paint for color I brush coats in the molds never slush cast mainly cause pure latex is so thick it's like ice cream the paint waters it down a little but it's still to thick to slush but I try to use Urethane more as it wont dry out and rot and doesn't need any conditioning like Latex just alot harder to work with need a molds and plug to cast a hollow urethane mask or you can sit there slush it around for about 2 hour till it cures up enough to stay in place.
