I have an idea for the scythe. instead of the sword transforming into the scythe, how about bane pulls out the scythe from his back because the scythe is actually a bone from the darknes demon that was turned into a weapon? That way it expliains the different colors also allowing bane to fight with the scythe and the sword. What do you think?

In my opinion i think you should change the scythe's colour scheme, make it more uh...darker i think
