I really commend what you did with this whole 'then and now', and to see the skills gained in just 8 months

Oh wow! Ah thank you! Really this character was just made to compliment my name on here, DarkCat. So I just made a black cat, then added some things that would be different yet interesting to look at, while keeping it special to me.
For example:
The exposed rib cage, was something I have always have drown on random "Doodle" characters with there organs showing. I thought Id do the same here, but thought if I added the organs it would have been to much.
As for the eyes, I have always put so much effort in to things like the eye shape, i wanted people to have a good view of the all parts of the eye, so I did the gray around it so it would compliment the black and so you could see all of the eye. As for the red, I just put it there for added interest. Same goes for the eye color.^~^

A lot more thought out than I would have guessed! It paid off; They eyes stand out quite well.
