Wow. I love this! How did you get that close?! I love the feeling it gives you, like you're in a cave, and there is the other side! It makes it feel so ancient. I love it! Great job! :]

Thanks, I'm so glad you like it! I go so close by going with a tour group that was allowed in before the rest of the public.

beautiful shot! I love the way you make it seem like there are no people at all. when I visited stonehenge, there were so many people, it was impossible to take a photo without people ^^

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. The reason I was able to make it look like there weren't any people is because there were only about 15 or so. So I was able to wait until they moved before I took the picture. I went on a bus tour that took me and a small group to Stonehenge before it opened to the public. It was awesome because we were able to go beyond that rope they have up and and go between the stones. It was amazing!

That's too bad. If you ever get the chance to go back you should definitely look into a tour. I know it sounds like such a tourist thing to do but it was great. My tour also went to Lacock, where the filmed part of Harry Potter and where a bunch of really really rich people live, and to Bath, which was also amazing.

Thanks I'm glad you like it. It wasn't taken during the summer solstice, but it was taken about a month later. I took a really cool bus tour where we were suppose to see the sunrise at Stonehenge but they forgot how many people had signed up for the tour and we missed sunrise. But we still got to visit before it was open to the public and go beyond the ropes.
