A Request by to draw her Blood Elf character from World of Warcraft.
I need to put more effort into backgrounds. They always defeat me, because landscapes are boring to me... unless it's a battlefield.

This is female fantasy character. And she is fully clothed. Don't you know that she is supposed to have armored bra and pants only? What have you done?

Love the character design! A real hardbitten elfin character that dresses in a practical manner! Looks like she needs to watch out for attacks that come at her right! LoL! Not a bad looking background, the somewhat ominous implications of the felled trees fits her beatup martial character!

Thanks, I can't take complete credit for the design since it's someone's World of Warcraft character! But yeah, I've never been a fan of chainmail bikinis (unless of course the character is supposed to be a seductive harlot

I'd say the background is perfect. Doesn't distract from the character, but still offers a setting and mood.

omg I see it too! Ironic. Lol. It kind of fits, that comparison. Such a long history I have with this particular character. Long story, long history, and a lot of invested time over several years leveling her and completing quests and dungeons.

actually there is a small area in Grizzly hills with a break in the river, a small lil island that looks really peaceful. Not gloomy at all. I think it fits. <3

hah most of what crest wears rply is sensible too. Out of everyone I know that rp's female blood elves I'm pretty much the only one that hardly wears dresses, UNLESS there's a justifiable reason. Even her civilian clothes are usually pants, shirt and vest style. Though combat gear for her is usually the norm pants and vest with under shirt. I can't ever recall my girl here ever having to run around in a leather version of what I call "armor of distraction." Then again, I think it's because I'm picky and would rather go several levels with sensible looking gear versus something that looked really, really stupid for a rogue to wear when she's a mele in your face type of fighter.
