I LOVE the outfit... but he seems to me more like a Knight of Ren than Vader honestly. Which isnβt a bad thing in the slightest. Vader had a more mechanical look to him, while this guy gets the more... Iβd say Kyloβs design was less Plate armor Knight, and more Surcoat Knight. Thatβs this. More of the Surcoat kind of Knight. Faster, more agile. Even though Vader could prove to have plenty of both, Speed is this guyβs focus. Not an impenetrable Defense.

You good sir, have just inspired my Star Wars OC with this pic - after a few minor tweaks. A great pic it is, although I must say it doesn't really give off a Vader-vibe

A nice piece, but still not vader. The problem with redesigning things such as this is that you cannot redesign it in a way that's going to be more attractive, since the original design is perfect as it is, and is also iconic. If he doesnt have the mask, he's not vader. If he doesn't have that control panel on his suit, he's not vader. Also Vader (because of the suit i guess) has a more stocky build, and he only wields one lightsaber.

No, it really isn't. It's a dude in armor with lightsabers. It's pretty good, don't get me wrong. It just isn't really 'Vader'y.

as a peice of art this looks amazing. lighting, background, foreground, posing, everything screams fire! and threatening! its amazing! very well in that department.
its just the darthvader part of this, nothing about this screams darth vader, at all. it does'nt work, not because it does'nt look like darth vader (and im not saying this because there is'nt any of darth vaders trademark things like mask, cape, ect... those don't matter as long as the feel & impact is held in place. ) its because darth vader was a massive force of imperial power. he had a machine like tone to him, emotionless, tall and mysterious. he had an effect on you even by standing in his presence. he din't need two lightsabres or any lightsabres for you to know that he was not some one to fuck with.
he was massive in personality by just looking at him.
this version seems more like a sith assassin or minor sith to me. he looks too young, leather bound armour, clearly seeing more of a use in something as small as two lightsabres for his fighting. he looks light on his feet and faster than the robotic and heavy original. and his over all appearance has nothing that really stands out from the rest of the sith. he looks lower than the original, instead of the emperors right hand man. not giving off the impression of a high and mighty sith.
but still. its a amazing piece of art. just not as good in the re-design part of it.
and sorry if i sound like an asshole, i don't mean to come off that way.

Darth Invader? I like this. I could go for this character if it was a new Sith Lord, but not as a new Darth Vader. Just sayin'. It looks AMAZING. It's almost like a combination of Star Killer andΒ William Augustus GreyΒ (the main character from the video game, "Dark Void").

Holy balls of flaming exploding badass that is awesome! Don't really like the dual sabers but that's personal preference and I've always preferred a single saber anyway.
