Technically, Orabstarbuttercup is right. Denkou has been and is a boy...who happened to have a girly voice in the 2003 version of the show. Besides, "Astro Boy: Omega Factor" reveals that Denkou is a boy!

By "original episodes" I mean episodes that broadcast the original Japanese episodes that have accurate subtitles.

I'm not too sure myself. Denkou is refered to as a she in the English Dub (probably a translation problem) and I can't find anything on Youtube which shows the original episodes. Not to mention, Epsilon was mistakenly said to be a "he" in Omega Factor.

Are you sure? cause genkou is the 2003 version of zero from the 1960s series , light-ray from the 1980s series and electro from the original manga and they're all boys.So when they rewrote Astro boy they change the genders too?
