who-ho-ho! Look at those impulse "rockets"! That is awesome.
What an interesting angle. She looks so different, but I *know* its correct.

To be honest I had no clue what those things were. I left them off until the last second because I just wasn't sure, but I did best guess and came up with a plasma looking material. Guess it was a good guess.

Honestly, you couldn't go wrong. The sketches we worked off provided no angle or info as to the interior. We just know they're impulse and they be honkin' huge.
If it helps, I do have a series of blueprints that call out the various structures. You might find them informative for your future work. I release them after we let the color image free. As always, adrasil makes 'em, and I tweak them a bit, to fit the written material.

Anything helps, I've been going through and faving the parts images, and I've started to work from those because I can do this in a more modular fashion.

Adrasil is in tight with the collaborative 2D artists here. If you need to focus in on a specific component, he might be able to dredge it up or make it himself. (Not to volunteer him out-of-turn, or anything.)
But he does appreciate challenging works (which is why I try to frustrate him with my technical descriptions).

Any time I can break things down into smaller components it makes things look much better. It give me the opportunity to work with a narrow spectrum and not get over whelmed with the big picture. I am doing the saucer of the Trent sheet, but only the saucer and I've noticed a ton of details that I missed on the first go around with the USS Trent.

> details that I missed
Here's one that I think you might have opened the door for me on: the Trent's running lights are reversed. The rule is the red light (also known as the color "port) is on your port (or left) side). Sometimes known as the Rule of 4: Port (4 letters), Left (4 letters), with Port meaning both the side and the color.

Did I flip it? I will make sure that it is fixed in my next render.
