heck yes this is wa-loli i wish i could do that with my hair!i love her little simple eyes against the bold yukuta, a touch of frill from her bloomers would make this absolutley amazing IMO though it was perfect as it is definately a fave

I'd classify this as Wa-loli. I utterly love the fact that you kept the wamono in a Japanese style instead of doing the tranditional lolita type prints that I see on so many wamono's. I'm sorry if that didn't make sense. I also like that you did the girl's make up and the hair ornamentation (can't remember the term for the hair decorations at all at the moment) in Heian period style. Very elegant but simplistic...somewhat. The overall form is simplistic but the detail on the wamono is gorgeous. Lovely lovely job. I found you through egl on LJ with your Bopeep drawing.

I understand what you mean about the traditional prints and what not. I see alot of waloli dresses on Y!Japan but they all seem to be more towards lolita, and I wanted to try something more traditional, plus their hair is so much fun!

Uzumaki is a horror manga that has lots or swirls..it's creepy but funny too. I love it. Kuon? Never heard of it. Why is it annoying? lol.

I drew zomboid kyo from memory in my notes one time and the kid behind me was all, "HEY We;re supposed to be taking notes, NOT DOODLING!!"
