Hello there!
Your technique and vision are amazing! However about the originality, I have seen other pieces like this. I have even thought about taking a photo like this before. I love this photograph because the strings go from focused to not in focus. The impact of this makes me want to pick up the guitar and run my fingers down the neck, feeling the focused strings. Disappointing that I can't do so. I am a huge fan of your work and want to thank you for sharing you beautiful, amazing, delightful photos on deviantART. Anyway, I love this piece and thank you so much for sharing. Great job!

As an electric guitar player, I had to comment on this one. Β What a great photo. Β as to the comment below, I disagree I feel as though the piece is totally original in that you captured the moment. Β You capture the "soul" of the guitar and what it means to be a guitar. Β That may sound silly but it's what I see. An excellent photo of an instrument that changed the face of music.

I love the lines in this and how the lines of the strings contradict with the lines of the ribs of the neck (just google'd-fret wire,lol).

the reflecting technique is good.. but I really like the depth of field and and subject of course.. I can almost hear the guitar from just looking at the photo. Inspiring.. and motivational. nice photography!
