Description
Because sometimes no matter how much your friends or family say they love you, you still think you're not worthy and you're broken.The rose is withered.
Take from my Rose in Rain photoset that I posted earlier on my Tumblr account.
Took it while I stayed home alone during LΔ«go celebration and a thunderstorm started out of my window.
My equipment used:
- Canon 1000D/Rebel XS 18-55mm kit lens

This is a Beautiful piece of art but it misses some ummm Lighting... and color..... I really love this but try to make this photo POP into the open everyone will LOVE IIIIT!!!!! Very well done! This artist (or photos) proves theres so much more out there that we dont know! The beauty of this mans photos are just so beautiful! Taking photos this good is a skill. Not everyone can do it. But when it comes to this artist art heavens! The heavens are always true! I hope this artist will keep on shooting amazing photos because he is like no other. This is stunning absolutely breathtaking. The contrast of the dark bring the eye to the centre of the picture. Then there are the droplets of the water, the background provides the most excellent contrast to notice these details. Details define this picture. A single rose shows the multi layers of the beautiful flower. When many roses are all together that can sometimes form a photo that is rather cluttered and then the flowers don't seem to don their full beauty. I like the fact that you titled the picture unclean, that is a fitting title. To me the picture shoes the purity and the fact that a flower can be easily tainted, covered by the elements of nature. All in all words are words and a picture says a thousand words. The only word you really need to describe this is Excellent.

your exposure is near perfect, the drops really pop. i like the black background and the fact that you put it in the corner. my one critisizm is that the rose looks a little stretched up. if you framed the rose a little more centered it would give a greater effect. i love that you did this in black and white, its very dramatic and shows good emotion. Very sharp on the drops, which is the center of interest. its an overall great concept. what type of equipment do you use? i like that you chose a rose for the subject.

Very dramatic piece.
Chiaroscuro is used to good effect, as the singular light source illuminates both subject and additional elements in the droplets.
Interpretation:
The title is aptly chosen as it juxtaposes the correlation between water and cleanliness with the opposing meaning of 'unclean'. It is almost as if the droplets now add to the 'unclean' state of the subject.
Additional/possible interpretation:
The withered state of the rose bud could also indicate an early demise and the loss of future possibilities - think of young people who die before they could reach their full potential for example.
I find this piece successful and thought provoking.

I love this picture. It describes many people of the world. The lonliness, sorrow and darkness that slowly rots away their heart, preventing it from blooming. The technique you used has made it as if we are looking at ourselves. The shine on the dewdrops also give us a feeling of hope as it reflects the light on the wilting rose. I love this image and your wording to this is also very heartfelt and is very fitting. I relate to both.

This is amazing and the title is perfect. Β the image would make someone think about the unclenliness in their souls and try to fix anything thats wrong. Β It could also be loniness. the colors and the lone flower crying big tears as its swallowed by the dark. Β I love all the aspects of this photo keep up the good work

I love the way this shot turns arund the classic image of the rose. The symbol of beauty, purity and perfection is magnified until it is unrecognisable, the lack of colour only emphasising the otherness introduced by the layer of droplets (to me, at least, reminiscent of scales). It makes one wonder how many other roses look like this when separated from their familiar, comforting bouquet, and how many other observers have the courage to get this close and find out. In one word, amazing!Β
