Drawn after Β informed me, that Diddy Kong won't be playable in Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash.ΒThere is not much to say, but one thing: Sometimes I think, Nintendo doesn't really care for Diddy Kong.

Diddy doesn't even have a spinoff appearance on the Wii U he has a main series appearance and 2 crossover appearances (Smash 4 and Mario & Sonic) that's it for him

and not only is he playable in mario & sonic, but he also is part of donkey kong's moveset & vehicle in skylanders

which is basically Activision saying eff you to the DK series but also since Mario & Sonic is a crossover title, Diddy has 0 spinoff appearances on the Wii U, he has 1 main series appearance and 2 crossover appearances

oh no Activision does there research when they created DK & Bowser, DK has a attack with theΒ red girders & blue ladders, barrel kongo, throwing barrels, barrel cannon, Diddy Kong with his jetpack & peanut guns on his side
and for bowser, summoning koopa troopa's, turning into a large version of himself, fire breath, turning koopa's into dry bones, aΒ green pipe to summon multiple koopa's at ones

no i mean Diddy as an upgrade rather than being playable is what i meant by that, since you don't have control on Diddy (aka the worst upgrade in video games.) no way for a Double Dash esque style between the 2 Kongs and that Diddy has been playable from the get go in DKC, DKC2, Returns and Tropical Freeze

Besides, Daisy has been in every Mario and Sonic game and she was in every Mario Kart (not counting the Arcade games), since her debut in Double Dash. She has way more appearances than Diddy Kong.

Yeah she is in Mario Maker. I feel the reason she has more appearances is that I feel Nintendo views him as as a Donkey Kong exclusive character, yes he does have his appearances in a few Mario Kart games.

Sonic's right Diddy, you are playable character in Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Also your right Diddy, you should have been in Mario Kart 8 and you should be in Mario tennis ultra smash because you can't have Donkey Kong without Diddy Kong.
