I did this pic for someone who might be interested in commissioning/trading with me. He may or may not. I don't ususally do this for someone who hasn't said either way but I do know him in a round about way and he said he doesn't see much fan art of Hound. I don't think he's intersted in slash and it would be a good opportunity to do a little non-slashy stuff.Some parts of the pic may still be worked on yet but if I change it I will just substitute the newly reworked pic here.

This is a nice rendition of Hound, one of my favorite Autobots. We don't see too much of him since Bumblebee stole his thunder. At least, he survived the "86" movie but seemed to disappear after that. I'm glad to see he really isn't forgotten.

Hound seems to be pushed to one side or another. Poor Hound. Seems a few characters were done that to. Too many Autobots?

No I didn't use the toy but screencaps I could find and The Ark book which has excellent inks of all characters. I make my own little reference sheets so I can get the characters as best as I can.
I can take a look at your TF stuff. I can't promise anything. I got a pile to color to go thru among other things to do.

I have a Hound with the US Flag I drew in 2001 after 911 that I did not finish. Been meaning to do it for a while now.
Other uncoloured pics include Nightbeat, TM Cheetor, RID Prowl, Depthcharge (the best pic of the lot) and a couple of others which in name escape me right now.

A year or so ago someone came to me and asked for a specific request. At this time I have stopped requests due to the volume of them and all I had to do but this request I had to do. Optimus Prime saluting with the Towers and the American flag in the background. I had a ton of comments especailly of stories of what people did on 9/11. People really felt for that one. I didn't realize the drawing I did until after I finished it was when I felt it.
You should really finish your Hound.

I should do indeed. I have the original on large A3 paper which I may need to shrink xerox down to fit in my scanner again if I cant find the smaller copies.
The Hound was drawn from both the toy and cartoon stills. G1 Hound is a solid quality figure too.
I also have a Cyclonus I never finished. I had a background and everything sorted for him too.

This is beautiful. I love Hound. His expression is perfect, and so is the background. I'm a bit of a nature nut myself so I really noticed it, and I think it came out great! I love the coloring job you did, too. Yay Hound!

One of the more understated autobots. I'm with Mira on why this one is a fav of mine. I like the expression--I've seen it several times on fellow airmen after everythings calmed down and you can just go at ease. You do not take things like that for granted--Hound apparently doesn't. That beatific expression is just perfect. Nice work here.

I love it. My whole family is military and I like the fact that Hound reminds me a lot about my family heritage and the bond we share as being one big military family. That is why I love the Autobots. They share such comradery. Pardon my spelling.

How did you get started on TFs? Which series? I love them all but got started with G1 of course.
There was a lot of lesser characters that are still lovable like the twins, Trailbreaker, Huffer and others. They had scenes but not the air time like Bumblebee and others.
Do you have or can get the seasons? I think that they are now being redone on DVD. But if anything else you can probably find them on Youtube. What doesn't that place have?

Armada.
I've watched about a total of three episodes of G1 on Youtube. I've watched a lot of Beast wars of it, though. And one of Robots in Disguise.
There was a Sam's Goodies that had Beast wars, but I can't remember where that is, and it's costly.
But no G1 yet (I have seen Voltron at Walmart, though...)
Who knows? Maybe with the movie, they'll have a re-release. I hope so.. Even if I rent it for a week, I'd be happy.

I think I heard about a re-release of both the G1 movie and seasons. My saddest thing on it is that I already have all taht on DVD and I'm sure this will have extra cool stuff that will of course make me go wild.

Sadly, I'll be too busy this summer to get a job: Driver's Ed., Summer Programs, etc...
My next chunk of money will only be $50, which probably won't be enough. Otherwise, about $200 a year earned. Bleh.
