Let me preface this by stating; this is a great illustration and the colours are excellent. Way beyond anything I have done on Deviantart so my next comment has nothing to do with the quality of the art. It's truly ASS-tounding (heh). Am I the only one who finds this image ironic though? I mean here everyone is so happy for Furiosa being a competent character alongside Max in a film full of well realised and satisfactorally strong female characters and this image flies in the face of all that by over-sexualizing Furiosa. Just ironic is all. Just sayin'

I rarely watch new sequels to old and favorite films. I watched Mad Max 4 and I actually liked it. They use practical effects, great action, and they certainly show more than they tell.
It is certainly gender-biased, Max is a secondary character, and there are some retcons so it's not perfect.
