Yeah, it is supposed to be dark and rather violent (from the author's description). They're gladiators in the scene, and they're fighting, mid battle and have ended up in a clutch. Sunny has his sword at Meg's throat and Meg's has wrapped his weapon around Sunny's. She had suggested a flail for Meg's weapon, and that sort of morphed into an electrified/energon chain weapon (could still be a flail of sorts I suppose, maybe retractable length on them and such)
The fic isn't out just yet, I've offered to help with editing/beta-ing and am working on it currently *grins*

Like the pastel look to this one. Bleeding energon, that is something I don't think I have ever seen. Good effect though.

I'm really curious about the fic now--the art for it is enticing. Sunny looks appropriately cold blooded, and Megatron almost gleeful about what might mean the autobot's corruption. Its very cool.
