This photo is part of a series of photos I took on a bright sunny day in January 2007. Every surface was coated with ice, and I just had to go outside; I couldn't pass up the chance to try and capture how beautiful and sparkly everything looked.The only editing done to these photos was removing some minor distractions and enhancing the colors by toying with the levels, brightness, and contrast. Lastly, I added a border to each photo. All editing was done using Macromedia Fireworks.
I've got a passion for photography, but I'm by no means a pro. I'd greatly appreciate your feedback and especially any constructive criticism you may have, because I want to learn as I experiment, too!

The sort of shape of the tree makes it look rather scary, but that glowly, pinkish snow makes it look like some sort of lure o.o it looks... so... @w@ PRETTY! *Walks to the tree*

lol! XD It's actually some sort of tangly, vine-y bush that's in the park across the street from my house. And the pinkish-ness is the sun glinting off the ice from it; everything that day was coated in ice, even the blades of grass! (When I walked it crunched, lol)
