Good lord, this one is amazing. It really remembers me of an oriental carpet.

Thank you very much! It is done in the Grand Julian style which is the same as my fractal The Painted Ceiling. That one is much more complex and has really weird shapes and patterns going on in it. The 2 sides are also flipped. The bottom left has a large egg shaped pattern that is on the top right etc. The patterns also slip under the border lines. It was my second try at one and so I didn't really know what I was doing so much, but I loved the look of it anyway. I like strange pieces. You can see it on my main page because I have it as the featured piece. I used the same gradient though. Everyone made comments on liking that gradient so I thought I would use it again for the ID. You were very keen to pick up on that. I appreciate your comments and thank you so much for the favorite.

Thank you. I got it done early so I wouldn't forget to submit it as I have before for contests.

Thank you. No, I never know if something I do is good as far as what people will think about it so I appreciate wonderful feedback like yours to let me know I'm on the right track. Thank you for the four leaf clover. I'm going to need it. I think this design is too ordinary to win. They usually pick a piece that's spectacular.

I thought it was great!!! You did an excellent job on it. I have been considering doing the same thing with mine. Just can't decide on an image.

Thank you very much. I know what you mean. I knew what fractals were because I had seen a Nova program on them but I had no idea how to create them myself. I started my gallery with my drawings, paintings and photography as well as with some paper sculpture masks I made and then I saw someone else making beautiful fractal pieces and started asking questions. Now I've got hundreds of them on here. They are addictive and if you ever want to know how to make them, just ask! Most of the programs that you use to make them are free downloads.

Cool, that might be something I might look into doing. It seems pretty interesting and I, for one, love geometrical art and this type seems similar to it so, it's great. I'm going to be back to your page often, I love your designs.
