AHHHHH I FEEL LIKE I WENT WAY TOO QUICK WITH THIS ;-;I'm still trying to come up with ideas for a certain drawing I have to make for someone, and while I brainstorm I try to get more drawings done-

anyway, here I go:
--Let's focus more on the colouring this time--
The mouth
-It shouldn't be so pink I'm not sure if I already told you this--
Yeah, the tongue is pinkish but it's still more to the reddish tone. And the rest of the mouth should be dark red, since there's never a source of light coming to that area.

- To 'distinguish' the different parts from each other, you can add a very deep-colour-thin-shades.

You don't have to do it but I think it's prettier that way just my opinion-

And if you'd wanna do these 'lines' on the dark colours, instead of doing the shading-lines darker make them lighter than the base colour-

But don't make the light lines too strong, so be careful when using this style
Aaaand that's probably everything I can come up with without completely telling you everything how I'd colour since I don't want you to have the exect same techniques as I do. I don't want to ruin your style ;;

Personally I was thinking the mouth was too bright, too, but everyone told me it seemed okay... I knew I should've made it darker. -3-
And I felt like the hair was too blended... *Sigh* It does look better with the darker tones.
But I don't see the point in making white lines on a black suit. Doesn't it look weird?

The lines are there to make the clothing more visible. It's hrad to see outlines of dark clothing so I usually add some light on it. But you don't have to do it- it's just a small detail

But when you look at the Lilly I drew as your pfp you can see I did the lighter lines there as well, but around the shades this time- you can do it like that too, but like I said; not too visible.
