I had hoped to post the coloured version first, but I'm afraid I had to start spamming Deltora Quest clubs since there's far too little fan-art and particually book fan art.So I give you Lief, as a 16 year old boy on the journey to save Deltora by restoring the belt! I imagine the belt would be beneath his shirt and against his skin. The belt over the shirt is just below it so if he gets hung upside down or anything that belt will keep the magical one hidden beneath the shirt.
It sounds confusing when I write it.
I always think the outfits through far too much.
Also, Lief is awesome. If you haven't read the books do because they will change your life in the best way possible.
COLOURING: Please feel free to colour this and just say where you got the lineart from and send me a link when you've finished so I can admire it

Nice one! Lief is by far my favourite character!!
P.S. (I know... I love adding P.S.s) Lief seems a little bit.... skinny I suppose (and really tall). I love how it's different from the anime, where he has blonde hair and blue eyes, but I think he needs a bit of... "fattening"

I love how you draw him! You've really thought a lot about it, giving him a pack on his back and everything! Can't wait to see him coloured!

I saw that strap across his chest and wondered what it was. Then I saw the pack and went "Duh. They carry packs with them! Where else would they keep all there Queen Bee Honey and stuff?" Nice touch!

I actually think this is a pretty good design! It's that sort of practicality that I imagined his costume would have (especially with the belt underneath, I can imagine they would be trying to prevent theft and the like). You sure do really good clothing folds. May I ask, is this the pencil line art or did you go ahead and ink it? It just looks so clean!

yeahh, someone steally the belt for cash would REALLY ruin the whole 'save the world' thing.
It's all inked and the pencil erased. I'm been trying extra hard lately to draw very lightly with pencil so that it doesn't leave marks even when erased. I'm glad to know it's working
