I tried an etched verson of the infamous box. I think it looks nice unlit, but I don't really care for it lit. ( I didn't have a fixture or bulb the right size on hand so just ignore the makeshift base ) I could definitely use some opinions.Related content

How did you do that? Is there, like, a special process to etch glass? I really want to try now after seeing this.

The simplest way to get started is just a stencil and etching compound. I made a stencil in vinyl using a vinyl cutter, then sandblasted out the design. then copper foil and soldered together
