Poor Dan... Gouken must have finally allowed his younger brother, Akuma, to beat the crap out of him and put him in his place. *giggles* This would have been cooler if it were a homage picture of Dark Hadou (Evil Ryu, Violent Ken, etc) and include Dark Sakura in there (she is Dans' student and Ryus' loyal fangirl).

He tolerates the group. Doesn't mean he is all buddy buddy with them. In the olde Street Fighter 2 animated series Akuma does plenty of cameos where he sells fruits or hangs out in crowds, so he does have some social sense, but he doesn't have that bond that the others have. I'm actually quite surprised that the artist depicted Dan so depressing and quite looking. Like wow, that is so not like Dan.

Dan: *acting all hyper* Woo Hoo! Woo Hoo!
Ken: Would someone PLEASE smack the bitch quite! He is so annoying!
Ryu: Dan, you need to calm down. The camera can't take our picture with you jumping all over the place.
Gouken and Akuma just stand there looking dumbfounded and annoyed by Dans' antics. They then look at each other. Gouken nods at his younger brother. Akuma sighs and proceeds to take one of his gloves off.
Dan continues being obnoxiously annoying, till Akuma slaps him on the face with his glove. Dan quiets down. He doesn't say anything and moves off to the side looking depressed.
Gouken and Ryu: ... ...
Ken: Finally! Now lets do this!
Akuma: *puts on and adjusts his glove* Can we take the picture already? I have better things to do than disciplining children.

LOL I know what you mean. XD LOL Well Akuma does hold back a bit for weaker opponents... to give them a fighting chance, you know. Akuma only resort to demonstrate his full force towards worthy opponents, as a sign of respect for them. In the case of Dan, Akuma has no respect for, so if anything is it more like him bitch slapping a bitch back in his place. XD lol
