This was a collaboration withShe made the sketch, and I did the rest. n_n;
I think this turned out rather well if I do say so myself. Its simple... but nice.
I don't really know why Mewtwo is crying.. but its sad all the same. Makes you want to give him a hug. ;_;

Hes crying because he misses the little girl he talked to in the lab before he broke out in anger and destroyed it. She was teaching him about the joys of life. They were psychically linked and spent lots of time together as he grew in the tube. But then she died and he couldnt find her anymore as if she just disappeared on him. This is all canon just not well known. Look it up.

I seriously hope someone makes a full movie in which Mewtwo finds love.
I don't care who with. I just want to see the poor guy smile.

I believe the original mewtwo and the new female mewtwo from movie 16 will be paired as mewtwo mega x and mewtwo mega y. They will probsbly do this pairing in a movie at some point while causing everyone in the world to shit bricks at knowing theres more than one of them.

I like to think that there's only one Mewtwo, and that there only should be one, but I guess I wouldn't really mind something like that either.

I think Mewtwo and Mew should get together :3 clearly the mew in the first movie is different than the one Mewtwo was cloned from as Mewtwo was cloned from a mew fossil so they are definitely not related meaning... SHIPPING TIME!!!

Mew doesnt look like a kid, she is a cat. Although I agree that shipping actual kids is grossΒ Β
But yeah, Mew is a fully grown pokemon as is Mewtwo although it does act playful sometimes, but hey I'm 25 and I can be super playful! :3 lol XDΒ

Wow I feel seriously sad now... Very moving. I used to always cry when I was little when I watched how sad and upset Mewtwo was in the first movie; I felt like I needed to help him--not that I could.

Mewtwo is sad because he's a clone. He was created by the Team Rocket. He doesn't know where his place in the world is.

I didn't read all the comments about this masterpiece, but here is a hypothesis: maybe Mewtwo is crying because he's in love with another creature, but himself is an artificial pokemon. So he thinks he can't to have feelings for anybody else: a love between them can't exist...
If it's his opinion, I think he's wrong: anybody has the right to love, even an artificial creature.

Maybe he's remembering the friendship he had with the girl's spirit, as it seems she was the only human that he cared about.

Well, in the Heartgold SoulSilver games, a pokemon can pick up items. This include flowers, that it sometimes gives it's trainer. Mewtwo may have found that flower after being caught, but refused to even show it to the trainer. Which could have hurt his/her feelings, and lead to a bit of guilt for Mewtwo.
... Just a thought.

Well, maybe he liked someone so much he started to do the "she likes me, she likes me not" thing and then he decided 'oh what's the use, why would any girl like me, a pokemon who hates humans, but I still like, no LOVE, her". That's my opinion

mewtwo is such a great character, so full of meaning. I think he was the sole reason why the first Pokemon movie was so cool. Mewtwo has such a great charisma. Didnt liked the next two movies, and didn even saw the other ones. They just werent interesting enough. Sometimes, though, I go back the the first one, to remember how simplicity can creat great characters

Maybe mew two was picking the pelts and saying "She love me ,She loves me not, She loves me, She loves me not..." Or somthing like that. The fallen plets made me think that. Or in some sick world mew dies and he was visting her grave before having a breakdown. You know what? Hug for Mewtwo!
