Oh.. my... word. c_c; This took me freakin -forever-! x_X; But it was worth it. <3 I worked hard on this, really hard... to make it as perfect as I possibly could since Lugia is my favorite legendary... and this is my 100th deviation. o_O! Also for that reason, I'm discouraging critique cause I worked my fingers to the bone on this one... and I don't want anyone nitpicking. So don't do it. Please.Number nine in my legendary series, the great guardian, Lugia!
By the way... yes... that is Fire, Ice, and Lightning islands in the background there. Although you can barely see the latter. x_o Ahar... apologies to the Zapdos fans.

Okay, so I've uploaded the original size of this picture due to its popularity which is available for download. I also put in the address for my DA gallery instead of the squiggle in the corner which were my initials. I'm rather tired of seeing ripped altered images of this around the internet. If you use this image then please don't crop out the address in the corner.
Many people like this image but don't know who made it! It was ME! I've had people accuse me of art theft on my own artwork! Altered images really make me sad too.

Rather late. But i just want to say thankyou. Because if i hadn't stumbled upon this, i wouldn't have remembered the song....that beautiful song (ruined by a big pile of rubbish in the middle) that was in the movie i last saw....what, 6 years ago? And this guy was the thing that got me, he was awesome.
And this is honestly the only Pokemon that has remained a favorite while the others faded into obscurity.
