Description First piece for the 100 themes challenge! This is also my first submission for the October Friday challenge.

This was actually a commissioned piece for an client on Etsy. She wanted something similar to this - [link] - just without the black ashy bit. I love how this turned out and I hope she likes it too.

Each little button is hand-wrapped in the wire and attached to the chain with gold-plated jumprings. Took a few hours to finish.

Vintage and new buttons, gold-plated toggle clasp and copper wire, goldtone vintage cable chain.

Yeah! You can never pinch too many pennies these days. I got lucky this semester in that I only have to drive down two days a week, and not in the morning when parking is at the absolute worst.

hah, thats cool, i didn't realize you used buttons on that. i really like this. and the color change, its really subtle and well done. then the coiled wires and the button holes, there's alot to keep your mind and eyes active. without being too complicated.

Thanks! I like the challenge that buttons pose. You can't really do the same things with them that you can with beads, it forces you to think outside the box, so to speak.
