About two and a half years ago, I was approached to make the cover art for the fanfic Appledashery by Just Essay. You can see that original cover here: fav.me/d7gxavr

In writing this fic, he actually managed to run into a hard-coded limit of chapter count. So he had to rework it a bit and make a second volume for the fic. He came to me and asked if I'd be willing to do a new cover for the new fic. Of course, I was totally up for it. You can definitely see my improvement in the last couple years here.

I actually used some digital trickery in planning this picture out. I started the whole project by setting up a 3D scene in 3DS Max to get the composition and perspective. I tweaked it a lot when I drew over it, but I think it did some cool stuff for the final result. I like blending 3D and 2D art tools to make something better.
