Remake of one of the drawings from my old WITSG (What if they switched games) 3 part series.Someone Faved the old version of this one, and I asked myself... Why? the old one looks really REALLY bad.

Hm, I think if only Insomniac handled the gameplay, and perhaps some form of collaboration with Sonic Team and Insomniac on the story? Each of them handles the bits best suited to them.
I imagine multiplayer would be like Knuckles Chaotix, with Sonic and Ratchet connected by a tether. It would be FUN. ...And maybe one of the unlockable bits would be a skin change for Ratchet to make him Shadow just to piss people off.

As long as sonic stayed weapon free I'm sure I would be fine... Shadow's game made me die a little inside and I don't think I have enough left in me if they did that to Sonic. That would be interesting to see how that could work out though.
Oh, and I could see one of the multiplayer games having a rail grinding theme.

Well, of COURSE he'd stay weapon free. He said he wouldn't be caught dead using those things. 'sides, a skinswap option would be...optional. And it would make more sense for Ratchet...if Insomniac did the game, it would still get the heat, but at least the gameplay would've been better. D:

No, not really.
I managed to get some enjoyment out of Sonic Fighters and Sonic R, but Sonic Labyrinth? Sweet mercy...sweet mercy...SLOW DOWN SHOES? srsly, a much WORSE gimmick than Werewolf Sonic.

Yes, any game that completely abandons the speed and/or platforming aspect tends to be dead to me. And that's mostly Sonic Labyrinth/Tails' Skypatrol, not any of the recent games. So long as there's speed and some form of jumping, I tend to be fine.
Apparently the dude in charge of Sonic Unleashed, Yoshihisa Hashimoto is super intense about making this game a really good one. Says it's going to be more like Sonic Adventure than the other titles. And from what I've heard about how the game plays (A fusion of the traditional Sonic 2D gameplay and the SA style gameplay) and seeing the environments of the levels he'll be in...well, it's sure seeming to look that way to me. ...I sure hope that it'll be that way! D:

I have noticed in all of the gameplay videos that there are quite a few Sonic Rush elements involved as well. This is going to ROCK! (I just hope they make it GC Controller compatible for the Wii)

I have a feeling that they will. However, I'm thinking about just getting my Xbox 360 back and renting the game for that so I can see the better graphics. I'll probably play the Wii version eventually.

...No, I said it was LIKE Sonic and the Secret Rings. Obviously, that was not the right term to use. It switches from the 2D platforming perspective to the 3D Sonic Adventure perspective...and from what I know, it is NOT on rails like SatSR, more like SA.

not really despised, I just couldn't fully get the hang of the controls and I started running into stuff that I shouldn't have, and falling off things that where obvious.

Yeah, it took a bit of time for me...I got a hang of it, but the on-rails action was a bitch on levels like Pirate Storm. ;_____;
Anyways, the latest issue of Play Magazine says the 3D style in Sonic Unleashed it will be Sonic Adventure style, you can explore what you wish. So, that's a relief, at least for you.

...The Wii version has DIMPS from Sonic Rush/Rush Adventure involved and exclusive levels. Don't know what they'll try to do with the PS2 version.

Rush, and rush adventure... I love those games, It's a freakin PAIN to beat the second one 100%, because I can never remember which level has which rocks. but yes... hopefully Mario Kart and all of it's obscenity causing glory can tide me over until unleashed comes out...

Ah yeah, they're fun! I beat Rush Adventure, not all the missions though...don't know about the rocks though. I can't beat Rush because the final Emerald Bonus Stage is a pain. o___O;; Same for me in Sonic Advance 3. Yeah, I would assume it would be quite fun. :3

Sonic ur supposed smack people around with that wrench n get some badass weapons.
Ratchet ur only supposed to run around collect rings n attack people by turning into a ball n smacking them.
