Description
A purple coneflower that sprouted in my front yard. It bloomed last year, too, but didn't take a photo of it out of sheer demotivation.

I'm told that long before we moved into the house there used to be an apple tree. That explains the formation the grass is in. (Also, a rabbit used to hide in the grass, but I haven't seen it since).

And I was also sure that this was a coneflower.
