Storms of a Darker Shade.

Oh, how I love the storm clouds,
Rolling over my vision.
Cracking thunder like a blanket,
Coating all my screams.
Can you hear that sound of horror,
Agony piercing through the air.
It's coated by the sound of lightning,
But soon the sound will be dead.

I love the storm clouds' depth and sorrow,
It's twisting patterns like angered water.
I can see it sealing it's sheet of darkness,
Over the desperate moon.
What if the moon never came back again,
And we were blind in the dark of night.
You could never catch a single glimmer,
Of the tears falling from my eyes.

Demons crawl across my bedroom walls,
Dancing again as the lightning cracks.
They watch me with warped sinister eyes,
Laughing at my pain and anguish.
Why do they find my distress so delightful,
This torment playing with my mind.
Their cackles of thunder at my affliction,
Playing tricks on my rememberance.

I bid the storm a dulled farewell,
As my vision starts to fade.
No longer can I live in colour,
As the blacks grow a darker shade.
