I got the idea for this painting from the movie "Secret Window", with Johnny Depp. I made this while I was watching the movie for a second time. The position of the character in the image, is based off of a scene at the end. I can't describe the scene, because it would ruin the movie. All I can say is, it was definately good. Both as a film and as inspiration. Also, I originally made the image with a face but I decided against it for a couple of reasons. One, it wasn't pleased with the turnout and two, I really like the image better without it.This is the first Digital Painting, I have ever done... All in all, it was more of an experiment, than anything else.

Keep in mind though... A pilgrim style hat, sits on the crown of ones head, it doesn't go down very far. In any case, I think that if I made it any lower, it would make the face look awkward. Than and he seems to have a really long face in that angle, of that scene. I don't know though... I may try to change some things in time. I will probably try to do something about that, when I work on the face. However, that will be in another version, well in the future.
