I do appreciate how D&D continues to supply me with inspiration.

This is from last weekend, and Chid's debut into our D&D campaign. (Speaking of that deviation, y'all seem to really have liked it and it is one of my most viewed deviations ever- please tell me what you liked about it!)

The newly-formed party was investigating a missing scouting group and came across an area that seemed to have been recently abandoned. As per the bard Flynn's request, Chid stayed watch behind in case the group was ambushed. Sure enough, it was a trap. From Chid's vantage point on top of the rocks he was able to surprise and smite a werebadger with a perfect guiding bolt.

I was inspired to sketch this shortly afterward but being the workweek I haven't had as much time as I'd like to have to shade it and whatnot so I decided to cel-shade it.

I do loathe cel-shading, but it's good practice I guess. Side profiles aren't my forte either so I guess I'm getting practice in both areas Also not super jazzed about those boots but it's too late now lol
