This is so... *must find word* WOW! 8D Now I will say why I think it's so WOW!
The thing that jumps at me the most and what I think is one of my favourite aspects of this is how the smooth and crisp lineart stands out against the beautiflly done soft-shaded colouring.
Moving on to that, the shading is so soft and LOVELY! I've often tried to do that with how I shade, ALTHOUGH FAILED MISERABLY. D:
And the pretty detailed eyes. My, YOU ARE TALENTED! D:< So much is going on in just one eye it's INCREDIBLE!
The background, too, is breathtaking. It has so much detail, and looks like so much work went into it, it's amazing. And the cloud- IT'S FREAKIN' AWESOME. o A o
It's so awesome, I can only find one thing I can crit; the nose is so... I dunno, GEOMETERICLY SOUND, but it's not shiny-ish. Unless it was intentional, of course, because so much else is shiny ('cause of the pretty moooon) but not the nose. :<

I love the lighting... it's soft and gives off a feeling of dimension. But I'm not getting the same feeling from the shadows. The colours are beautiful, though... especially in the floating seeds. :3

the detail of the night sky and the moon are amazing.oh,not to forget the rock face.it shows how long you worked on the bg it looks real.
the eyes are so sparkly and sad it makes me want to cry but then im shocked on how well the entire thing is drawn

the background is amazing, as well as the puppy, but the larger circle of light on the eyes should be softened or something (im my opinion.. i dont know why..), other than that, amazing. by the way, I love the bicolored eyes. ^_^

Whoa- that is just- really cool. I'd critique it if I knew how to critique art, but alas, I don't, so I guess I'll just state what I think is REALLY AWESOME about it.
Well, the shades are just- whoa. Without fullviewing, you can still tell that something's there, and it must've taken you a while to shade it like that. And then when you full view, all the little details just kind of jump out at you. Including the eyes, which... which... -melts- I also love how the eyes are different colors (I think - one is green and one is purple, right? Or is that just some kind of reflection of... something?)
AND THAT CLOUD IS SO COOL. As are the moon/planet thing (can't quite tell).
But, yeah, that's just... wow. The picture has this whole depressing, breathtaking effect, and... and... all right, now I'm just rambling like an idiot...

And yep, one eye is blue-green and the other is purple! And that sphere in the corner is supposed to be a moon XD; (Note to self: Learn how to paint the moon and other planets)

Those eyes are pretty amazing. The moon is very good as well. I love the entire thing. If I had to give a critique the only thing I'd say is that I thought it was a cat and not a puppy. It's still very great. Awesome job.
