Description
So I had 4 unused canvases sitting around my flat, and I decided to figure out what I was going to do with them and work on maybe actually using them. I've been in Full Metal Alchemist mode for maybe two months or so, so I decided that three of them were going to go to the Elric Brothers: one each of them alone, and one of both of them together.Here's the final version! It was too big to scan, so, I ended up taking a picture of it; this time, though, I went outside and set it in direct sunlight so the colours wouldn't look all wonky.
Like most of my anime fanart, I drew Ed in my semi-realistic style and had to find someone to base his facial features on. That someone was Brady Corbet . (In truth, I've been using Brady for Ed's facial features ever since my friend Ael and I made our RP Journals for Ed and Al back in 2008; she and I both decided to find live-action Played-Bys for them. On a whim. We also made sure to look for two actors who actually looked like they could be brothers; Al's PB is Jason Dolley .)
Liquitex Acrylic (same brand Hiromu Arakawa uses, actually!) on canvas, slightly over a day of work. Gold Prismacolour paint pen used to sign & date it.
