EDIT 25 April 2011: Changed the text and updated the logo to match all of the OTHER new logos I made over the weekend >.>I drew the pencil sketch for this two and a half years ago and got around to doing base colours last nightβwith the intent of making a rough coloured version for one of my gallery buttons.
Final version! As the title implies, this is intended as a poster of sorts, so there is some text... and a logo. Didn't do too much refining from the rough version, but did do some
Plus added lighting. Background's been changed too.Anyway. Sam doesn't go Jedi until the last installment of the Saga. But still, she needs a drawing with lightsabers. So I obliged her.
Several hours in Photoshop CS5 with a WACOM Intuos 3 Tablet.
Reference image is from the poster included with Jade Empire: Special Edition, which is stuck to the narrow door leading from my bedroom to my bathroom. Specifically, I used the painting of Scholar Ling .

That crossovers between Star Wars and Stargate in general existed. I'm a huge Stargate fan, and am starting to get really into Star Wars. I just never thought to combine the two.

Yes much better in my opinion, the dark backround draws attention to the Sam Carter character & the starfield give the the picture more of a Sci Fi feel. VERY NICE INDEED.
