Description
On his home planet of Mars, J'Onn J'Onzz was once an average Manhunter - the Martian's enforcers of Justice. However, his planet was attacked by the crazed madman Starro the Conqueror, wiping out almost all of the Green Martian race. J'Onn managed to protect himself and his family for the majority of the War, but eventually he lost everything. After the genocide of the Green Martian's, J'Onn managed to fight off the final wave of Starro's warriors, learning that they were headed to Earth. He left Mars and headed there, beating Starro to Earth using a Martian teleporter, and warned the Human's of the coming attack - first encountering the Batman.When Starro did arrive on Earth, the Justice League were there to fight him off, and stopped him from continuing his destructive crusade. Afterwards, J'Onn was accepted on Earth as who he was, and was named the Manhunter, keeping his Martian tradition. There he served as a hero.
