So i've been having an artist's block and have no clue what I was going to draw until I started reading a book for like the hundredth time. Called The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It's one of my favorite books even though it's considered juvenile/ young adult.This is the Mockingjay pin that the main character wears as a symbol throughout the book.

Thanks, yeah I read it before the movies. I thought it was interesting that they started having that as a book to read in school. I mean, no one really knew of the books, I shared it with all my friends.

Yeah the movie was pretty good, they left out some things from the book that I thought made things more relevant or I thought should have been in it but it was still good. I was always sad when I read when Rue died, it was worse seeing it on screen.

Hmmm... I don't know. I think the first one, because it sets up the base of the games and most of the characters, it's pretty intense. The second one was good due to the different problems, but the third was good because of the resistance and all the twists and turns to the story line. I can't really decide because they are all good, in their own way.

The first one for me too lol I like it cuz it heats up the romance with katniss and peeta. I also like how in the games he's all "Come back for me sweetheart" it just drove me insane. I was kinda addicted to them considering i read all of catching fire in two days.... is that weird for a 13 year old to do? O_o

I agree with that. Nah, I think it's pretty normal to do that. I was 19 when Catching Fire came out in 2009 and I finished it about the same as you, in two days. It's just flat out good writing that captures it's readers.

it really does ^^ I'm still on mockingjay but I'm reading it at school and it's in language arts...and i don't like that class... so i ave a tendency to slack i can't even rememeber where i am

It's kinda interesting to see how language arts classes have changed and what they have you read. It does make it more enjoyable if you don't have to read it for a class but just for fun.
But keep going with mockingjay, it's good!

Favorite things to draw.... hmmmm, well I mostly just do black and white drawings but I don't really have a specific one of those. I've been working on my person drawings to be more realistic. But I do a lot of random things, stuff that I see or want to challenge myself to do.
I write fiction stuff but I don't put any of it on here due to them being ideas and never completely finished ideas.

Yeah I started it today. The characters so far are mickey mouse and oswald the lucky rabbit. But they aren't themselves in this one. If you've seen Twisted-wind's work, mickey and oswald are like that. It's the beginning but I started it from a dramatic scene. Mickey is pissed off at Oswald for doing something he wasn't supposed to and right now, Mickey is questioning their brotherhood because of what happened.

Hey, you never know. They are most likely not bad, we are our own worse critic. So you started a comic? Did you have a general idea for it, story line, or characters?
I always love having a new sketch book and knowing I can fill it with my work.

That's cool. Yeah, I checked out Twisted-wind's stuff to see what you were talking about. I think i've seen that stuff before. Really interesting take on Mickey and I like the character Oswald. So I don't know exactly how I can help on this but it sounds like you are heading in a good direction.
And yes, I like ATLA, it's a good show, my brother-in-law actually got me into it. New ninja buddy huh? Well I'm honored.
